POSITION: Substitute Bus Drivers

LOCATION: Transportation Department

EFFECTIVE DATE: ASAP

REQUIREMENTS: Applicants will be required to possess a New York State Class D operator’s license and a CDL Class B permit at the time of application.  Within 90 days of appointment, applicant must complete training and obtain a New York State CDL Class B license with a P and S endorsement.  All training required by the School District must be completed prior to the end of the one year probationary period.  The license must be kept current and valid for the duration of employment.  Applicants must satisfy requirements of Bus Drivers set forth in the rules and regulation of the New York State Commissioner of Education.  Applicants must be able to interact well with adults and children.
