The Lansing Central School Lunch Program is committed to providing your child nutritious meals meeting all USDA recommendations. These standards include age appropriate calorie limits, larger servings of vegetables and fruits, a wider variety of vegetables, fat-free or 1% milk, more whole grains and less sodium. Now is a great time to encourage your kids to choose school lunch! School meals are a great value and a huge convenience for busy families.

MyPlate provides information about healthy serving sizes and maintaining a nutritional diet. They teach both students and adults about food groups, nutrition and how to make healthy eating a habit.

School Food Reboot
We are excited to be a part of the Tompkins County School Food Reboot (TCSFR) program! In partnership with the Chef Ann Foundation and the Park Foundation, TCSFR is providing six school districts in Tompkins County, NY with support to improve their meal programs.Through TCSFR, we are emphasizing whole ingredients, scratch-cooked meals, procuring local foods wherever possible, providing a strong foundation for students’ academic success and ensuring our children are well fed and ready to learn!
