We are pleased to welcome you to the Lansing Central School District. If you are new to the area, or if your child is a former student returning to us, you’ve come to the right place! To begin the registration process, please call the District Registrar, Debbie Todd, at (607) 533-3020, ext. 4000. She would be happy to mail you a registration packet, or you may download the packet from this page.

When you have your packet completed you may return it to the Lansing  Business Office during business hours (8 am to 4 pm) or by dropping it in our drop box after hours/weekends. When using our drop box please do not leave original birth certificates or proof of residency as we can not guarantee that they will make it back to you. Another option is to scan and email all of your documents to the office

New York State requires that your child have the following before registration at Lansing Central schools can be completed:  

• Proper Immunizations completed and documented.

• A Physical Exam conducted by any New York State physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. 

• Your child's original Birth Certificate.

• You will also need to bring 2 forms of Proof of Residence.

The Registrar’s Office is located in the Business Office of the Elementary School. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday by appointment. Other times are available by appointment.

Please note if you have changed addresses within the school district you have 10 business days to complete the change of address form and bring in new proof of residency or we will no longer provide transportation for your student(s). 

The Central Registrar is located in the Business Office at 284 Ridge Rd  

We have added PreK registration paperwork for the 2025-2026 school year to the list of available forms.
