Last Friday, Lansing High School Seniors gathered in front of the High School before beginning their annual Senior Walk.

From the Elementary School to the Middle School and back to the High School, our Seniors proudly walked through the halls, filled with cheering students & staff, high-fives, and Lansing pride.

Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate the Class of 2026 and send them off with so much love and encouragement! 💙💛👏

🍎🥗 We recently welcomed school food service teams from across New York State as part of our partnership with the Chef Ann Foundation!

Lansing showcased how we've transformed our meal program over the past three years by reducing processed foods, increasing scratch made menu items, and transitioning to fresh protein preparation!

Guests toured our central kitchen, learned about our operations, exchanged ideas, and enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by our talented food service team.👨‍🍳

It was a fantastic day of collaboration, learning, and celebrating nutritious school meals. Thank you to everyone who joined us! 🙌

📚🐾 Yesterday it was time to drop everything and read at R.C. Buckley Elementary during the annual Read-Around-Buckley tradition!

But there was more than just reading this year, students got a surprise visit from the Bobcat! From classroom to classroom, the Bobcat stopped by to greet students and join in on the fun as everyone celebrated the joy of reading together!

A great book and a visit from the Bobcat? That’s a winning chapter! ✨📖

We’ve got some very special Bobcats to celebrate! 🌍🎓

Congratulations to our Lansing students who earned the New York State Seal of Biliteracy, an achievement that will be placed directly on their diploma and recognizes students who have mastered the English language and an additional language through years of dedication, learning, and hard work!

📣 Earlier today we had another amazing Lansing send-off for Trent Thibault! He is on his way to the 2026 NYSPHSAA Indoor Track & Field State Championships! 🏅

The High School halls were filled with cheers and high fives, and the Middle School and Elementary School students gathered outside to wave Trent on as he departed for the championships! 🙌
